I've found that astigmatism is one of the least constant of eye conditions. It can change from one minute to the next, not only in degree but also in axis.
That is, unless glasses or contacts have locked the astigmatism into place.
For example, have you ever had the experience of getting a new pair of glasses that made the ground seem to tilt at angle? That's probably the result of an astigmatism correction. Of course, the eye doctor told you you'd get used to it - and you did. But, the astigmatism got locked into your visual system.
On the other hand, you might have glasses that correct for astigmatism even if your experience was not so dramatic.
In either case....
You can unlock those habit patterns and reduce or eliminate your astigmatism.
And, it's easier than you might think!
