Believing Is Seeing
For over two decades, researcher Ellen Langer of Harvard University has been studying the connection between the mind and body.
Recently, she decided to look into the connection between our mindset and how we see.
What she discovered may be new news to other researchers - but it confirms what I've been saying for years:
If you think you can see, you will see better. And, if you think you can't see, you won't see as well.
One Small Change
In one experiment, Dr. Langer was able to improve vision in most of the subjects just by making one small change to the "Big E At Top" eye chart.
In another, subjects improved visual acuity by changing their mindset about how well they were supposed to see.

The Triangle of Total Vision
One of the cornerstones of my natural approach to eye care is the "Triangle of Total Vision."
In this triangle, there are three essential factors that contribute to how we see - our body, our mind and our emotions.
Eye exercises help to change the way the muscles and focusing system of the eyes work and proper nutrition is necessary for healthy eyes, but these two elements are only part of the body corner of the triangle.
The mind - our belief system, our expectations, our ability to visualize - and the emotions - our willingness to see and be seen, our ability to express how we feel through our eyes, and the inner barriers to seeing - are also key elements that need to be addressed for change to occur.
Each person's eyesight is affected by a unique combination of these three factors.
That's why I recently released a 3-part series entitled The Inner Healing of Vision.
It's exclusively available only to members of the Eyesight Club, but you could always join the Club for a month to listen to it, and then, if you wanted., cancel your membership after the first month. (Click here.) Or stay a member and take advantage of all the other special prograrms, audios and benefits.
My appreciation goes out to Professor Langer for pushing the envelope in our understanding about the mind and body connection.
All the best in sight,
